Being his first time visiting HKUST, Mr. Wei kickstarted the event with warm opening remarks. He briefly introduced himself and his aspirations on how their company may do for developing the younger generation. Awardees then shared how the Aeon Credit Service Scholarships supported their journey in pursuing knowledge, outbound exchange experiences, and athletic training, etc.
Professor Ip Yuk Keung, Adjunct Professor of School of Business and Management, and Professor Mow Wai Ho, Associate Dean of School of Engineering credited the awardees' dedication to their career development. They also shared their experience in school and at work.
After the gathering, the delegation also visited HKUST Entrepreneurship Centre (EC). Director of EC, Professor Carrie Ling introduced their various programs supporting entrepreneurship development for students and alumni.
Aeon has established the Aeon Credit Service Scholarship since 2018 to acknowledge students with outstanding academic performance. There will be 15 students awarded each year.
