The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) has received a generous donation from Shenzhen Leadus Technology Industry Company Limited (Shenzhen Leadus) to support the innovative research work conducted by Professor Changying XIANG, Assistant Professor of the Division of Integrative Systems and Design, and his research team. The project will focus on pioneering 6G communication and smart home integrative systems, with an emphasis on conceptual innovation, technological development, and prototype creation.
During a recent visit to HKUST, Dr Aotion SONG, CEO, and Mr Mengshi LI, Deputy General Manager of Shenzhen Leadus, met with Professor Charles NG, Vice-President for Institutional Advancement, and Professor XIANG. The parties exchanged views on the latest developments of the University and the project’s progress. Professor NG expressed his sincere gratitude for Shenzhen Leadus’s generous support, stating that the partnership will provide new momentum in next-generation communication and smart home design for the benefit of society.
