Tongcheng Travel Scholarship to recognize outstanding HKUST students

On November 10, the inaugural "Tongcheng Travel Scholarship Presentation Ceremony" was successfully held at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Ms. Mary Ma, Assistant Vice President of Tongcheng Travel, and Professor Pak Wo Leung, Dean of Students at HKUST, attended the ceremony. The year, the Scholarship honored seven outstanding students for their exceptional achievements and performance in fields such as artificial intelligence, risk management, and business intelligence.

Earlier this year, Tongcheng Travel contributed to HKUST to establish the "Tongcheng Travel Scholarship" program, encouraging more outstanding local and international students to pursue knowledge and excellence at HKUST.

The generous scholarship support from Tongcheng Travel not only alleviates the students' financial burden but also opens up opportunities for them to participate in diverse extracurricular learning activities. These opportunities help broaden students’ international perspectives, foster their leadership, teamwork, and independent problem-solving skills; and ultimately, equip them to excel in a competitive worplace while confidently pursuing their dreams. During the ceremony, the Scholarship recipients expressed their gratitude to Tongcheng Travel.
