The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology welcomed a 15-member delegation from the Hong Kong Young Industrialists Council led by its President Dr Jacky Cheung on 7 June 2016. The delegation visited “Transforming Lives: An Exhibition for HKUST 25th Anniversary” at the Library, the Robotics Institute and attended a welcome lunch hosted by the President Prof Tony F Chan and Vice President (Institutional Advancement) Dr Eden Woon.

Prof Chan remarked, “When the University was founded in 1991, few expected that we would have risen in reputation and rankings in such a fast and rapid manner.  With our strong belief in Innovating Today, Imagining Tomorrow, coupled with a can-do attitude, everything is possible and together we shall continue to create more miracles! ”

The University has always held high regards for support from our community and it is the key motivation to make HKUST an even better place for education and research.
