Mr & Mrs Ryan WONG and Mr & Mrs Roland WONG of the Wong Chak Chui Charitable Foundation visited campus on October 8 to meet the recipients of Wong Chak Chui International Enrichment Scholarship and Wong Chak Chui One-Belt-One-Road Enrichment Scholarship.

The recipients expressed their gratitude to the Foundation for providing the scholarships to defray the costs of participating in international enrichment programs.  Through participating in overseas academic exchange, internship, competitions, conferences and community projects, these invaluable learning experiences empowered the recipients to develop their personal attributes and competencies and widen their horizons.  During the get-together, they also shared with the Foundation representatives about their school life under the new normal as well as their future career planning.

The Wong Chak Chui International Enrichment Scholarship was established by the Wong Chak Chui Charitable Foundation in 2015 to support students in the School of Business and Management and Interdisciplinary Programs Office with financial needs in joining overseas learning programs.  With the encouraging outcomes of the Scholarship program, the Foundation set up the Wong Chak Chui One-Belt-One-Road Enrichment Scholarship in 2017 to further motivate students to reach out to One Belt One Road countries.  Over 170 students have been benefited since the establishment of the Scholarship programs.
