Scientists have proved that Harry Potter's invisible cloak is not fiction. Metamaterials, which can manipulate light and waves and make items invisible, has become a new buzzword. But why does invisibility matter? Because with metamaterials, we can make ultra-sensitive sensors and extremely fast photonic computer chips, as well as completely sound proof a room.
