Concern for the environment and for public health has led to a quest for buildings that are smarter and greener. After all, this affects almost all of us in one way or another, be it the apartment block we live in, the office we work in, our shopping malls and hospitals, and the schools our kids study in.  We will take a look at the challenges and opportunities including energy production and storage, indoor environmental quality, advanced sensor and control technology, and waste recycling.
