CASH-BASED DONATION
A gift of cash is a valued and efficient form of support to HKUST. Its immediate availability gives us flexibility in meeting pressing needs.
   
By Cheque
A cash gift made by cheque should be made payable to "The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology" and mailed with a note with the purpose of your donation, and your contact information, to: Development and Alumni Office, HKUST, Clear Water Bay, Kowloon, Hong Kong
 
By Credit Card
Credit card payments can be made electronically through the HKUST On-line Donation Form.

By Bank Direct Transfer (HKD Currency)*
A cash gift can be given through direct transfer to the bank account of HKUST at: Hang Seng Bank 024-361-008071-669. {details}
 
By Bank Direct Transfer  (Foreign Currency, RMB, USD, EUR, etc)*
A cash gift can be given through direct transfer to the bank account of HKUST at: Bank of China (Hong Kong) 012-896-9-200200-0. {details}
 
By Internet Banking Bill Payment Services*
A cash gift can also be given through Internet Banking Bill Payment Services.  {details}

For donors who would like to support HKUST with their United States-based assets, they can enjoy tax-deductions by contributing to our non-profit partner Give2Asia. Please visit https://give2asia.org/hkust/#donate, or download and complete the Give2Asia form. (Remarks: The minimum amount for Give2Asia to distribute to HKUST per one single transaction is US$5,000. Donors can consult our staff in the Development and Alumni Office for further details.)
 
    
NON-CASH GIFTS

Gifts in non-cash form are also very welcome. They include:

  • Land, residence, commercial property, and other real estate
  • Equipment for teaching and research, or book collections for our library
  • Bequest and life insurance plans naming HKUST as the beneficiary
  • Bonds, unit trusts, stocks and other kinds of financial contracts
