Take a moment to think about the internal workings of your body and try to conjure up all its tubular structures – blood vessels, bile duct, respiratory system and urinary tract among them.  These passageways are increasingly being used by surgeons to carry out procedures that are minimally invasive and have replaced open surgery for the treatment of arterial blockage and aneurysms. What are some of the latest advances in this so-called endoluminal technology?
