New nano materials have wide industry applications. One example is the Electrorheological (ER) Fluid which can quickly change from liquid state to solid state and can be applied in clutches, electronic valve and dampers. Another example is a “smart gel” for applying on windows which can change opacity and transparency according to the window’s surface temperature.
